With a dollar & a dream accompanied by grand vision to achieve success in his own terms in music, Mikey is relentless in pursuing his lane in music business. While attending Florida State University, this is where his roots can be traced to as Mikey began networking and building his foundation into the industry. During his sophomore year at FSU, he flew to LA to potentially meet with a few industry executives and during this trip, he was introduced to Omar Grant (now Co-President of Roc Nation). After sending countless, persistent emails after that initial meeting with Omar, Mikey earned an A&R internship at Roc Nation upon graduation from FSU in 2016.

From this point, Mikey began his journey in music business as he has served in various ranging roles along the way - spent time at Universal Music Group working in Supply Chain & Business Integration; worked as an Executive Assistant to Mustard as well as the President of 10 Summers Records; served as Tour Manager for Arin Ray on H.E.R.’s first domestic tour run; returned back to Roc Nation working as Artist Management. Mikey has attributed his business acumen and work ethic to many artist campaigns over the years, which include: Mustard, Maxo Kream, Kaash Paige, the estate of Nipsey Hussle, Jozzy, Benny The Butcher, Nnena, Yo Gotti, and more. Currently, Mikey is working alongside veteran industry executives Chace Infinite and Hip-Hop at Agency 78 as he serves as Artist Manager for Morray while assisting on the Agency 78 roster which includes Georgia Anne Muldrow, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, and Yasiin Bey.

Throughout his continued journey in music and in life, Mikey has learned more about his real gift in life - which is to inspire. The industry can be very fickle and a treacherous lane to navigate, but through it all, music at its’ core is Mikey’s heartbeat. Looking up to moguls and greatness in the industry who have paved the way, Mikey’s goals and vision to reach the pinnacle of success in music is still evident and present, but never rooted in the hoopla of the status quo. Whether it’s in music or any other space in life, Mikey’s mission in life is to uplift every person, client, or soul that he encounters through the inspiration that music has gifted him - regardless of the fact.
