Go Dreamer, the inventive and genre-defying producer, artist, and songwriter from Atlanta, has rebranded himself as Through the Static. Known for his eclectic musical style and boundary-pushing collaborations, he continues to evolve and redefine his artistic identity. This fall, Through the Static embarks on a new chapter, marked by highly anticipated collaborative projects with visionary artist Raury and Odd Future's Left Brain. His transformation reflects a commitment to exploring new sonic landscapes and artistic expressions, solidifying his place as a pioneering force in contemporary music.
"I started off as a creative in grade school making art. Then I saw my older cousins make music and selling it independently. It inspired me to attempt to create art from a audio standpoint. Pops got my first beat machine from a pawn shop and the rest was history.
Music became my career in mid 2000's as Go Dreamer and then with the group Hollyweerd after the "Have you ever made love to a weirdo" things ascended to Pregnant Boy and now in my final form Through The Static. I feel everybody's journey is different some people things happen instant some people things happen in the lifetime I'm more of a longevity type of artists. Always current always refreshed and ahead of the curve.
I do not like the false promises that people make to artists. If you keep it honest from the jump you grow in honesty. Also throughout the years I've seen hints of my influence through other acts or marketing tactics.
My project Through The Static Season 001 finally releases soon . I'm working on some records with Big Boi of OutKast. I have a capsule project with Raury happening in fall. Me and Left Brain working on a new project ahead of Camp Flog Gnaw in November I've also been in a R&B vibe as of late working with Drew Sidora working on her new single also Doing a record for NBA 2k25 with Mix Mason. I have a few other things in the can in early development mode I'll speak on when the time comes.
